Restart, removal from the app and factory reset are different operations.

In brief: Always start with a restart; use reset only when you need to erase the device configuration.

Operation What it does When to use it
Restart Turns off and restarts the module software without deleting the configuration Temporary issues or no response
Delete module Removes the module from the home or app where it is registered Moving, decommissioning or new configuration
Factory reset Deletes the device configuration and associations Stuck pairing, installation change or support instruction

Recommended order

  1. Check LED, power supply and network.
  2. Restart the module and router.
  3. Remove associations that are no longer valid.
  4. Reset only if necessary.
  5. Pair the module again as new.

Reset requires the original QR code and a new configuration of name, room, inputs and specific functions.
