A preventive check avoids most installation, pairing, and operation issues.

In short: Check the electrical system, load, space, Wi-Fi network, and QR code availability before switching off the power.

Electrical checks

  • Correct model for the function.
  • Required power supply voltage.
  • Compatible current and load type.
  • Specific wiring diagram available.
  • Physical controls identified.
  • Working end stops for shutters and blinds.

Mechanical checks

  • Sufficient space in the box or panel.
  • Terminals and conductors accessible.
  • Setup button reachable for any future maintenance.
  • No obstructions for shutters and motors.

Network and app checks

  • Smartphone connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
  • Local network access permission granted to Freedompro Home.
  • VPN temporarily disabled during pairing.
  • Product QR code available.
  • App updated and correct account selected.

Electrical installation must be performed by qualified personnel, with power disconnected and absence of voltage verified before working.

Network compatibility

The network must operate at 2.4 GHz. Supported modes are WPA2-Personal, WPA2/WPA3 Personal mixed mode, and WPA3-Personal only. WPA3-Enterprise is not supported.
