The magenta LED indicates a connectivity issue and must be interpreted according to the type of light shown.
In brief: Flashing magenta: check the Wi-Fi connection. Steady magenta: check Internet access.
| LED | Meaning | First check |
|---|---|---|
| Flashing magenta | The module cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network | 2.4 GHz network, coverage and credentials |
| Steady magenta | The module is on the local network but cannot reach the Internet | Router connection, DNS and firewall |
Recommended checks
- Check that other devices can browse using the same network.
- Restart the router and access point.
- Check the distance and obstacles between the module and the access point.
- Avoid guest networks, client isolation or unconfigured VLANs.
- Check whether the Wi-Fi name or password has changed.
- Restart the module before considering a reset.
Do not reset immediately: you would lose configuration and associations. Reset the module only after the network has been checked.
