Quick timer, program lights and smart sockets in 3 taps

TimerRapido is the function of the FreedomproHome App that allows you to set an automatic on or off countdown. This new function can only be activated with two types of smart modules wifi, SmartLuci Modules and Smart Electrical Socket Modules.

How to activate the Rapid Timer

The activation of the Quick Timer is intuitive and takes place directly from the Dashboard of the Freedompro Home App, with a simple long-press on the icon of the accessory you wish to control.

Once activated, the operation of the Quick Timer varies based on the current status of the accessory (on or off).

Let's see together how it works, case by case.

If the accessory is On

Do you have the light or socket already active? In this case you have two options available:

Turn off in: this function allows you to set a countdown, expressed in hours and minutes. At the end of the selected time, the accessory will automatically turn off. It is useful, for example, when you want to leave a light on only for a certain period or you want to prevent a socket from remaining powered for too long.
Turn off now for: with this option the accessory turns off immediately. Then, after the time you set (always in hours and minutes), it will automatically turn back on. It is perfect for managing temporary breaks. For example, you can stop charging a device and start it again later without having to think about it.

If the accessory is Off

If the light or socket is off, the available options are:

Turn on between: allows you to program automatic switching on after a countdown. Set the time and the accessory will turn on by itself.
It is convenient, for example, to turn on a light when you return home or simulate a presence even when you are out.
Turn on now for: qZZZTOKEN54ZZThis function turns the accessory on immediately. Then, when the set time expires, it will automatically turn it off. Ideal for using a socket only for a certain interval, or for turning on a light temporarily without forgetting it on.

Once you have made your choice, just press the “Start” button to confirm and let the timer do the rest: the accessory will turn on or off automatically, exactly as you have decided.

What happens while the timer is active

Once the timer has started, the accessory enters automatic mode. This means that you will not be able to turn it on or off manually via the App until the timer is finished or cancelled. To help you recognize this mode, the accessory icon shows a small hourglass.

Furthermore, instead of the classic writing “On” or “Off”, you will see the remaining time of the timer appear, expressed in hours and minutes. This way you always know how long it is until the action you have programmed is executed.

How to cancel the timer

Have you changed your mind? No problem. You can cancel the timer at any time, in two ways. From the context menu, i.e. the same one from which you started the timer. Or by entering the full view of the accessory, where you will find the button to cancel it

In both cases, once cancelled, the accessory immediately returns to manual management.Z
