Habits let you run multiple actions together or start them automatically when a condition occurs. In Freedompro we use the term Habits: each Habit contains one or more events to run and, if needed, a start condition.
How to create a manual Habit
- Open Freedompro Home and go to the Habits section.
- Tap + Create habit.
- Assign a clear name, such as I'm leaving or Close all shutters.
- Open Run and tap + Add event.
- Choose Accessories, select the category, and then the items to control.
- Set the desired action and confirm.
- Add other events if needed, then tap Save.

Example: open all shutters
- Create a new Habit and call it, for example, Arrive.
- In Run, add an event.
- Choose Accessories > Shutters and blinds.
- Select the shutters you want.
- Set the action to Open, confirm, and save.

Example: close shutters at sunset
- Create a new Habit and call it, for example, Sunset.
- In When, tap + Add condition.
- Select Sunrise and sunset and then Sunset.
- In Run, add the event for the shutters.
- Select the accessories and set Close.
- Confirm and save.

Important: To use conditions linked to sunrise and sunset, enter the correct home address in the home settings.
If the Habit does not start
- Check that all the involved accessories are online.
- Verify the set conditions, days, and times.
- Check the home address for sun-based functions.
- Run the Habit manually to verify that the individual actions are correct.
Using a Habit from the Dashboard
You can add a Habit to the Dashboard and start it directly from its tile.
- The tile shows whether the Habit is active or disabled.
- The tile reports any errors that may prevent correct execution.
- By opening the Habit, you can edit its conditions and actions.
Expected result
The Habit will appear in the list and can be started manually or automatically, depending on the configured conditions.
