This guide gathers the KNX accessory categories supported by Easykon for KNX and the datapoints required for command and status. Use the indicated values as a reference during mapping in the web interface.
Before configuring accessories
- Work on the updated ETS project.
- Check the command and status group addresses.
- Check the datapoint type and length.
- Test each function on the KNX bus before connecting external ecosystems.
- Easykon for KNX is not Matter: it exposes accessories through supported integrations.
Compatibility by ecosystem
The following matrix shows which categories are available in the main ecosystems that can be connected to Easykon.

Limits and extra features
- Availability in the external app depends on the category and functions supported by that platform.
- Command and status must be distinct when required by the KNX project.
- An incorrect datapoint can result in values that are not updated, inverted commands or unusable accessories.
- After each change, save it, test it in the Easykon interface, and only then update the connected platforms.
If command and status are not correct
- Check the group addresses in ETS.
- Check the Data Point ID and length.
- Check that the status telegram is actually sent on the bus.
- Check for any scale conversions, for example 0–255 or percentages.
- Remove and recreate the accessory only after ruling out errors in the KNX project.
