NFC tags allow you to trigger an action by bringing a compatible smartphone close to a physical tag.
In short: first create the virtual tag in the home, then write it to a physical NFC tag.
Before you start
- Use a smartphone with NFC supported and enabled.
- Prepare a rewritable NFC tag compatible with NDEF.
- Open the correct home.
- Make sure you have the required permissions to manage the home.
Creating the tag
- Open Manage home.
- Select Tag NFC.
- Tap Aggiungi.
- Enter a name of up to 64 characters.
- Continue.
Writing the physical tag
- Open the tag you just created.
- Tap Scrivi sul tag.
- Bring the tag close to the phone's NFC area.
- Keep the phone and tag still until confirmation.

Formatting may erase data already present on the physical tag.
If writing fails
- Check that NFC is enabled.
- Remove very thick cases.
- Move the tag slowly over the back of the phone to find the NFC antenna.
- Make sure the tag is NDEF and not write-protected.
- Try formatting it from the app.
