How to manage notifications in the Freedompro Home app

Enable or disable notifications for modules and individual accessories in the Freedompro Home app and solve the most common issues.

Freedompro Home lets you manage both general home alerts and notifications related to individual accessories.

In short: for each compatible accessory, you can enable turn-on and turn-off notifications separately.

General home notifications are separate from individual accessory notifications.

General home notifications

  1. Open Freedompro Home.
  2. Open the home menu.
  3. Select Notification center.
  4. Open Home health and safety.
  5. Enable or disable the available alerts, such as Offline devices.

Turn-on and turn-off notifications

  1. Open the accessory.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Enable Turn on to receive an alert when the accessory is turned on.
  5. Enable Turn off to receive an alert when the accessory is turned off.

If you do not receive notifications

  • Check that notifications are enabled in iOS or Android settings.
  • Make sure battery saver is not limiting Freedompro Home.
  • Check Do Not Disturb mode.
  • Make sure the module is online.
  • Verify that you configured the accessory in the correct home.

Expected result

You will receive only the general alerts and the turn-on or turn-off notifications you selected.
