Easykon pour MyHome : installation et configuration

Easykon for MyHome connects a BTicino MyHome SCS system to supported smart ecosystems and to the Freedompro Home app. It is a DIN-rail bridge with an Ethernet connection: it is not a Matter product.

Who this guide is for

This procedure is intended for installers and technicians who need to mount Easykon, connect it to a compatible BTicino gateway, map the accessories, and complete pairing with the app.

Safety: Disconnect power from the system before working in the electrical panel. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel and in compliance with the technical documentation of the MyHome system.

What you need

• Easykon for MyHome.
• 12/24 V AC/DC, 0.1 A power supply.
• RJ45 Ethernet cable connected to the local network.
• Compatible BTicino MyHome gateway connected to the SCS bus and to the network.
• Access to the router or local network to identify the IP address.
• Updated Freedompro Home app.

1. Installation in the panel

1. Disconnect power from the system.
2. Mount Easykon on the DIN rail.
3. Connect the 12/24 V AC/DC power supply to the dedicated connector.
4. Connect the Ethernet cable to the local network.
5. Check the wiring and restore power.
6. Wait for the device to start up and check the status LED.

2. Connecting to the MyHome gateway

1. Identify the IP address assigned to Easykon by the router.
2. Open the IP address in a browser connected to the same network.
3. Tap Sign in in the interface.
4. Press the Sign in / Unpairing button on the device.
5. Select il gateway BTicino rilevato.
6. Verify the data and tap Connect.

Important: Easykon can detect only supported accessories that are reachable through a compatible gateway. Before connecting, update the firmware of the BTicino gateway.

3. Detecting and customizing accessories

1. Wait for Easykon to complete automatic detection.
2. Reload the interface after a few minutes if some accessories are not yet visible.
3. Use the Identify function to physically identify an accessory.
4. Open the accessory menu and edit the name, category, and available characteristics.
5. Save the changes.

Changes made in the Easykon interface organize exposure to connected ecosystems and do not necessarily modify the original configuration of the MyHome system.

4. Adding to Freedompro Home

1. Open Freedompro Home and sign in with your account.
2. Add a new module or select Easykon from the detected devices.
3. Select Easykon for MyHome.
4. Enter the required security code.
5. Assign the accessories to rooms or complete the operation later.
6. Conferma la configurazione.

Specifiche tecniche

LED di stato

• Blu fisso: sistema attivo e funzionante.
• Blu lampeggiante: reset o disabbinamento in corso.
• Magenta fisso: nessuna comunicazione con il gateway.
• Magenta lampeggiante: nessuna connessione Internet.
• Rosso lampeggiante: inizializzazione.
• Rosso fisso: cavo Ethernet non collegato o non rilevato.

Ripristino alle impostazioni di fabbrica

Attenzione: Il ripristino elimina configurazioni, utenti e preferenze presenti nel dispositivo. Eseguilo solo se necessario.

1. Individua il pulsante di reset sul frontale.
2. Premilo con una graffetta e mantienilo premuto.
3. Rilascia quando il LED inizia a lampeggiare in blu.
4. Attendi il riavvio e ripeti installazione logica e mappatura.

Se qualcosa non funziona

• Verifica alimentazione, Ethernet e collegamento del gateway al bus SCS.
• Controlla che Easykon e gateway siano raggiungibili sulla stessa rete.
• Disattiva temporaneamente isolamento client o regole firewall restrittive.
• Aggiorna il firmware del gateway BTicino.
• Controlla che il modello del gateway sia nell’elenco di compatibilità.
• Riavvia Easykon prima di considerare un ripristino completo.

Easykon rileva gli accessori MyHome supportati, li rende disponibili nell’app Freedompro Home e permette l’integrazione con gli ecosistemi compatibili configurati.
