The Freedompro WC0601-E transforms any electric roller shutter into a smart device without replacing the motor. The WiFi switch for roller shutters can be installed in the 503 flush-mounted box or directly in the roller shutter box in under 15 minutes; it is compatible with all 230V reversible motors, the standard type found in Italian homes. It also works with electric roller shutters, motorised awnings and motorised Venetian blinds.

The auto-calibration function automatically learns the motor’s travel time: the roller shutter moves precisely, without jerks or intermediate stops, and without the need for manual intervention. With the Freedompro Home app, you can schedule opening and closing times for fixed times or based on sunrise and sunset — the roller shutter rises with daylight and lowers at sunset, automatically. The physical electric roller shutter switch continues to function normally in parallel.

The WC0601-E is Matter-certified and compatible with all major ecosystems: Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Homey Pro. You can include smart roller shutters in home automation scenes, such as ‘Good morning’: lights on, roller shutters up, temperature set to 20°C. It integrates voice control, automations and routines: all without additional hubs.

Come si installa?

Follow these steps to correctly install the Freedompro WC0601-E Smart WiFi switch module:

⚠️ Before you start:
- Turn off power to the system by switching off the main breaker in the electrical panel.

1️⃣ Position the module
- Install the Freedompro WC0601-E module inside a 502/503 flush-mount box, in the shutter box or near the electric shutter controls.

2️⃣ Connect the power wires
- Connect the phase wire (L) to the module L terminal.
- Connect the neutral wire (N) to the module N terminal.

3️⃣ Connect the outputs to the load (shutter motor)
- O1: connect to the shutter terminal for upward movement.
- O2: connect to the shutter terminal for downward movement.

4️⃣ Connect the manual controls (buttons or switches)
- Connect the shutter button/switch to terminals S1 and S2.

5️⃣ Check the connections
- Make sure all wires are correctly connected and securely fastened.
- Make sure the wiring diagram has been followed.

6️⃣ Restore power
Once wiring is complete, restore power to the system from the electrical panel.

🔵 Module status
The module status LED will flash blue, indicating that it is ready for configuration.

🔗 Smart configuration
The Freedompro Smart WiFi module WC0601-E is now installed and ready to be configured through the Freedompro Home app or compatible Smart Home platforms.
